Easter 2014

Easter was a little later than normal this year and so that meant it was warm enough for spring dresses.

I love these three kids so much!!! They are truly the best kids in the world.

We headed to church that morning and enjoyed an AMAZING service.

We had lunch over at Tim's parents house and hunted eggs.

These aren't the best pictures

Yes Rascal lost the Easter suit quickly and opted for no shirt at all.

Time to dig through the eggs and see what all they got.

After Tim's parents we headed to my parents house. The kids played and played in the backyard and then we dyed eggs. This was so much better done outside....... note made!

Easter was pretty laid back and we loved hanging out with family all day

Easter 2013

This year I didn't have the energy to take many pictures. We just enjoyed Easter for what it really meant and I caught a few pictures along the way.

Friday night we dyed Easter eggs. This was the first year Baby A really got to be a part of it and I think she thoroughly enjoyed it.  It's something even my boys still look forward to and that makes me happy!

Saturday was my birthday and we spent the afternoon hunting eggs at out church Easter egg hunt. It was a yucky rainy day so we moved the hunt indoors. It still was just as fun and my kids loaded up on goodies!
The picture below is of Scooter helping out holding the resurrection eggs while Pastor Rick told the real Easter story.

Sunday we dressed all up in our Easter outfits for church

I really thought I would have to beg for the boys to wear matching outfits but they were PUMPED about it. YAY! Scooter is looking so grown up and it kills me!

And you know I love a comparison so here are a few pics of us in the past on Easter

2011 Baby A's first Easter

We had lunch with my family at my parents house and it was rainy and yucky outside. Instead of hunting eggs we did the next best thing... watched Duck Dynasty. We love that show and unfortunately Tim and I don't have cable so we don't get to watch it much.

For dinner we headed over to Tim's parents house.
While we were there the sun decided to peek out so we had a egg hunt. It was muddy and Baby A wasn't a fan of that but she loved looking for the eggs.

She was telling me ":It has rain on it mom! YUCK!"
She threw it down and wouldn't take that one HA!

It was a great Easter filled with wonderful family time and celebrating a RISEN Savior!

What a difference a year makes!!

I made these Easter bunny dresses for Baby A last year and she was able to wear them again this year as a shirt and a dress. Take a look at the difference:

More Easter Pictures

Here are some more Easter pictures. I wanted to get more family pictures at my parents house but I was feeling pretty rough at that point so I didn't get many pictures there. There is always mother's day and father day so mom and dad be warned....I want pictures of you guys and the grandkids. :)

Levi and that adorable smile!

Baby A kept a close eye on Levi's pacifier. She sat right next to him eating her fun dip and watching that pacifier.
He is such a cutie pie!

I must admit, now that the boys are older.... it is near impossible to get pictures of them hunting eggs. They are fast!  Baby A didn't hunt eggs on Easter Sunday. She was so tired after lunch so we laid her down and let the boys hunt the eggs.

The boys had a blast playing in the big pile of dirt at Nanny and Papa's house. It was chilly outside but they wanted to take thier shirts off and lay in it. Boys will be boys!

Our church held their Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter. My boys are the ones with the gray shirt and the orange shirt. They are lined up about to run and find eggs. The boys found lots of eggs and I think we may be set on candy until Halloween.

Tim took Baby A over to the playground where the small childeren were hunting eggs. I didn't get to see her hunt the eggs but I love these pictures that our friend Zach took through the fence while watching.

This smile is so sweet!!

By the end of the hunt Baby A was very ready for her nap.

This top she is wearing, was a dress on her last year. I will post pictures of both soon.
