Scooter's actual birthday (May 28th) fell on a Tuesday and right after Memorial Day. We had already had all his parties so that day was open to just have some fun. He chose to go bowling. So we met Granny and Paw at the bowling alley and had a blast playing two games.
Scooter had gone bowling when he was VERY young (maybe two) so I use the term bowling very loosely. He was much to young then to actually bowl and just ran around the place the whole time. So you could pretty much say this was the fist time my kids had gone bowling and the first for me in many many years.
Rascal tried to bowl without a ramp but the ball was too heavy and he was a bit nervous he would drop it on his feet. So after one time he used the ramp like Baby A..

I was last both times and this was my highest score! If I remember right Paw came in first, then Granny, then Scooter, then Rascal, the Baby A and I was last.
It was sad how bad I was at bowling but we had so much fun and I know to never join a league.
We had a great day celebrating Scooter's 10th birthday together.
