Last Day of School / Zoo Trip

The last day of school for these guys is always just 1/2 day. They don't even have to stay, as long as the teachers sees them and gives them their report card, they are free to go home. Due to the nurse packing things up and Rascal's Epi Pen being left with him or a teacher (which could mean confusion and/ or lost epi pen) we opt to walk in to the school get both their report cards and then head to the zoo to kick off summer break.
So here is the last day pictures:
Scooter's last day of 4th grade and Rascal's last day of 1st grade

Of course someone can't be left out.... Here is Baby A at 2 years old.

So with school stuff done and some AWESOME report cards in hand, we headed to the zoo!!

First stop was Sting Ray Bay

My boys were SO EXCITED....

Scooter even fed the sting rays!
Look at what they eat:

They got to touch some shark eggs.

We stayed in for over 30 minutes and at one point we were the only ones there. Due to that we got some one on one attention and education from the sting ray's caretakers. No doubt they learned more at the zoo that day then they would have learned at staying at school.

AND... I touched a sting ray this time!!! My boys begged and begged and I gave in.  It was gross!

We made our way through the farm and some other exhibits and then stopped for lunch. As I was passing out sandwiches, Baby A some how fell backwards off the picnic table and hit her head on a metal post. This was the result:
Since it was on her head and I went ahead and took her to the doctor and we got a good report. No stitches needed! YAY!

What a way to kick off summer huh?!?!
