After getting his cast on, we had a special lunch at Red Lobster with Nanny and Papa.
Scooter wanted crab legs but settled for lobster tail (it was on the kids menu). I did worry the entire time, that he would get lobster juice on his cast and it smell real nice for the next 3 weeks. I think we managed to get through the meal without such a thing happening.
We went and picked Baby A up from "Tinnie's" house. These are a few pictures Tammy texted to me during the day. She always loves going over to their house.
We got Rascal from school and headed home. Once we got home, Baby A went down for a nap and when I walked into the living room, I found this:
Rascal never naps and he certainly never falls asleep without us telling him to. I knew right away that something wasn't right. He woke up and complained about his head hurting and he may have had a smidge of fever. I gave him Advil and by dinner he was back to normal.
AT 2:00 am he woke me up and was burning up with fever and sayinghis neck still hurt. By morning he was still hurting and now his throat hurt too.
We took Scooter to school and headed to a new pediatrician close to our home. I had them checkout Baby A too since she was VERY irritable this morning. We found out that Rascal has strep throat and Baby A has an ear infection. Both are on antibiotics now and it's official.....all my children are suffering from some sort of ailment and all have seen a doctor in in the past 48 hours.
We did get out and enjoy the wonderful weather yesterday some. Baby A spotted the American Girl magazine and sat right down to take a look through it. HA!
It has been CRAZY around here lately! Now I must get my house cleaned and Rascal's party details finished! That is this weekend!!!

Oh my word! I knew as soon as you were telling his symptoms! You should have asked for a prescription for yourself while you were at the doctors. Or at least some chocolate, or starbucks! ha!I heard there's one near you now :)Baby A's expression in the last picture cracks me up. It's a "Mom's got the camera out again!" or "seriously, it's not a big deal" face. ha! love it!
