Random

I am so overwhelmed that I haven't the slightest clue where to start. So instead of tackling one little thing at a time, I am ignoring it all and wasting my time on the computer. Just keeping it real :-) !

~ Rascal is home for the second day today and is still running fever. It was 103.1 at 7:00 this morning so it looks like he will be staying home tomorrow too. Scooter was not happy about going to school while Rascal stayed at home. Never mind the fact that Scooter just had 2 days off from school due to a broken wrist.

~ Baby A is suffering from a cold and she is VERY clingy. If she thinks you are about to put her down she gets her little arms tight around your neck and won't let go. It's kinda cute but let's get real...I can't take care of a sick little boy while I have a monkey hanging around my neck.

~ Scooter had his first bath with his cast on. He realized quickly that it wasn't as fun as he thought it would be. I am so paranoid that he is going to get it wet and I don't even want to think about how disgusting it will be in 3 weeks.

~ I am so ready for spring. We have had wonderful weather this week and it has made me want spring weather so bad. I have had the windows open more days in February than I think I have ever had.  I love hearing the birds chirping and the breeze blowing through the house. It is wonderful!

~ Baby A has learned a few new words:
rorry (sorry), lilly (silly), peeese (please), more, puppy, and bear.
She is constantly tugging on her diapers when they are wet and still loves to sit on the potty..... I think potty training will start soon. She has started carrying around Rascal's very well loved bear and he has even let her sleep with it some. That poor bear won't make it through another child loving it like Rascal does. I must find a replacement FAST!  She weighed 26 pounds yesterday at the doctor's office and will go to have a check up at the end of March.

~ That leads me to this..... We tried a new doctor out and he was nice, his office was very nice and there really wasn't anything that I didn't like. BUT...it isn't my normal pediatrician. I LOVE LOVE LOVE our current pediatrician and the only reason I am even thinking about switching is because of the hour long drive one way to his office. I think I may give the new doctor another chance but I am not quite sure I want to say goodbye to our pediatrician that has seen Scooter grow up, seen Rascal through his reflux days and now his peanut allergy, and who has seen Baby A through her possible egg allergy (she isn't allergic). Maybe I am a bit too attached to him but he is great. Not sure what I will do but I have until the end of March to decide.
