Yes, I know it is about to be Christmas but I figured I better hurry up and post the pictures from Rascal's thanksgiving party....... better know as Indian Day. Better late than never, right???
As always Baby A tagged along and was a super good sport since she missed her nap, it was lunch time and she was at the school with me for a good 2 hours.
She is also wearing the turkey dress I made her but never got a really good picture of.
Indian day consisted of this...... each kindergarten class went from room to room for a different activity. One room they got their faces painted like an indian, one class they got a snack, one class they made headbands, one class they read a story and I am not sure what they did in the other classes since I got there a tad late and missed the first few stops.
Here is Rascal with his face painted and his headband on:
Picture with my sweethearts!
Enjoying a snack while listening to a story
Rascal making his headband. They had indian symbols on the board for them to copy onto their headbands.
After all the fun activities, Rascal's teacher took them out for recess while a few of us moms got the whole classroom ready for a big Thanksgiving feast. They had ham, corn, green beans, mac and cheese, potatoes, pumpkin pie and cookies. It was so much fun and the kids really enjoyed it all.
Scooter didn't have a party but I managed to make his class 80 oreo truffles to enjoy as a special snack. Yes, I made 80 truffles in about an hour and a half. I was working at lightening speed and managed to get them done and dropped off at Scooter's class and was only about 10 minutes late to Rascal's party. Now when I came home I had chocolate EVERYWHERE! There was no time to clean up and I had made a royal mess. Oh well both boys loved that I did something for each of them and that was all that mattered. I would do it over and over again just to see their precious smiles.

Cute little turkey and little indian! Love seeing you on here too! :)
