Girls Day

The day after Baby A's party, She and I went out for a girls day together.

She wanted to go to the mall so she could shop, play on the playground and ride the carousel.

First up we headed to build-a-bear.
The money she got from her Maw was for her to spend there.

She picked out a dog first

Then after looking at all the clothes, shoes and numerous other accessories, she decided she would rather spend that money on another animal and not the clothes...... smart girl!

So she went back and picked out a bear as her next animal

She even got a sticker that said we are celebrating A turning four!

She was so happy with her animals and she carried them around with her the rest of the day.
After Build-A-Bear we went and bought her a few clothes for school and then headed to the playground to play.

We rode the carousel and then went and had lunch together

Oh and ice cream :)

Here is a comparison picture. The left picture was taken July 26, 2014 and the right picture was taken on July 30, 2013
One year difference and man she has grown up a lot this past year!

After lunch at the mall we headed to Toys R Us and yes her animals went with us.

I pushed them around like this all over that store.
BTW she named the dog "Ruffy" and the bear is named "Star"

She took her time picking out just the perfect thing to spend her money on.
She ended up with a baby doll and some baby doll accessories (diapers, clothes etc..)

It didn't take her long to crash on the way home and she held on tight to those animals the whole time.
We had so much fun spending the day together.

This is one of the new dresses we bought for her.
I absolutely love it but I do not like how grown up she looks in it.

Such a beauty!

We are going to be in trouble in a few years. YIKES!

While we were spending a fun girls day together my boys were spending the weekend at the lake with their Nanny and Papaw.

Like I have said before Scooter is crazy about fishing and had been talking about catching some catfish with Papaw for weeks. I was so thrilled when my dad texted me this picture.

Man, I know the excitement he was feeling was like nothing else.
The kids just loves fishing.

Rascal went out with them a time or two but he isn't into fishing the way Scooter is.
In fact he preferred hanging back at the lake house with his nanny and she taught him how to drive the golf cart. Actually both boys learned how to drive it and they loved telling me all about it.
