Well if you are reading this that means you got the invite I sent you and you are able to view my now private blog! YAY!
Things are a bit crazy here so I am going to make this post short.
Fall is here (even though the temps are not quite as cool as I wish they were) and I love the smell of fall in my house. Here is a great EASY way to smell your house up like fall.
2 apples
1 orange
1 lemon
4 cinnamon sticks
3 TBSP of whole cloves
3TBSP whole all spice
Slice your fruit (no need to peel or core and of it), place it in your crockpot ( I used the BIG crockpot for mine), fill your crockpot full of water and set it on low. Keep the lid off and soon your house will smell so yummy!! You MUST keep an eye on the water though and add more as it gets low. You can just keep adding more water and use this for a few weeks. It's also easy to change things up with the scent, add or take out what you like/ don't like.
Last Wednesday we had a limb fall out of our tree and hit our van. BUMMER!!! It damaged the back hatch spoiler and had to be put in the shop for a few days.
My rental for a few days was this BIG truck:
I am not complaining, it was VERY nice and we could all fit in it but I know for sure I am not a truck girl.
I LOVE my spacious mom friendly mini van and I am not ashamed to say it. My boys however LOVED the truck and Baby A
liked it ok. She did try to get in and out of it by herself which was not an easy task for even me to do.Today I am baking and filling my house with yummy scents of apples and cinnamon. I think this new recipe will be a winner and I will post it soon for sure.

OH I loooove that smell! I simmer mine on the stove, I should do it in the crockpot , it'd be safer cause I allllways forget about it until I smell a burnt cider smell...haha :/ I'm so glad the truck/van repair is behind you! But I bet the kids will always remember when you took them to school in the big truck. ha!
