We are finally starting to change things up in our house. After living here for 3 years and only painting 3 rooms it's about time for some change. One thing high up on the to do list is painting our front door.
This is what it looks like right now:
Here are a few sample pictures I made on the Sherwin Williams site:
(front door Teal)
(front door Red)
(Front door Brown)
(Front door Navy)
I think we have finally settled on the brown and we plan to put matching wooden shutters up too.
On our way home July 4th we saw a bat fly at our van headlights. When we got home he was stuck in the grill of our van. The boys thought is was so cool and got close to investigate it. I on the other hand wasn't convinced it was dead so I kept my distance.
Then one night while the kids played in the front yard. I saw something across the street. I walked down closer to see just what it was and saw this (above). Yes that is a skunk. I tried to get as close as I could for a picture without regretting it. We quickly locked up the cat so Henry wouldn't be sprayed.
Speaking of wild animals.....I think Lucy is ready for the boys to head back to school. I find her hiding and trying to sleep a lot. She is just so sweet!
She must think she is a cat because this is her favorite place to lay (above) when the kids leave her alone.
And everyday when Baby A lays down for a nap, I head to lay down and check emails and read for a little bit in my bed. I won't be laying in my bed long before I have a sweet pal come join me. It doesn't matter if she just woke up from a long nap, she always comes to lay with me. I love love love it!!
We went to eat at our favorite mexican place the other night and Tim ordered a deluxe burrito. When it came out we couldn't believe how huge it was. We compared it;s size with Rascal's head.... HAHAHA!!
Of course not wanting to be left out, we had to take a picture of Baby A's head next to her plate.
She keeps us laughing.
The other night Tim was sitting on the couch eating a snack and he looks up to see Baby A just standing there with her mouth wide open. She didn't ask or say a word, just stood there like a baby bird with her mouth open waiting for him to share. Of course he can't say no to that sweet girl.

Oh Lucy! She makes me want a indoor dog. I think its funny that she acts like a cat sometimes because Ellie acts like a dog sometimes. What is it with these animals? haha Too funny about the dinner/head ratio! Baby A's response to that and the snack is just as Aliyah's would be. haha Love those girls!
