A little housekeeping

Recently I have had a few spammers try and leave comments on my blog posts, thankfully they were caught before being posted but I don't want it to happen again,
I've also read where many blogs were having their pictures and content stolen and published somewhere else. This has NOT happened to me but I want to make sure it doesn't.
I keep my blog low profile so I don't get the drama of running a popular blog. I simply like to keep friends and family updated on our life and also like having a place to record all our family happenings.
I keep my kids names off this blog as one way to protect them and now I am going to be doing a few other things for added protection. I can't even begin to tell you how ANGRY I would be if I saw my babies faces on another person's blog and they were claiming they were their pictures.

I have enabled the word verification so you'll now have to prove your not a spammer or robot before placing a comment. I also disabled the choice for all people to be able to comment. This means there will no longer be any anonymous comments allowed. If you want to leave a comment you will have to be a registered user. If I am correct this means you just have to "follow" or "join my site" and  you will then be a registered user. (If someone reads this and I am not correct on that please let me know.)

I am working on disabling the right click and save technique to save my pictures. Sorry grandparents, I know you like having the pictures but I can't risk them getting into the wrong hands. I know you will agree with me 100%  This means you won't be able to easily get my pictures without my permission.

And one more thing I will be doing for protection is adding a watermark to my pictures. This will be a logo posted on all my pictures that proves it is indeed my picture and my property. (example below)

Working on getting it bigger but I am SO DUMB when it comes to the computer stuff.  I'll take any tips if you have them.

It's sad that we have to do such things to protect our things but it's just the world we live in now.
