Picture Post

A few weeks ago, Tim and I took the kids to a skating birthday party. My boys have never skated before and it has been a good 15 years since I have skated myself. Once I got used to the feel of being on skates again, I was ready to help the boys learn how to skate. Tim hung out with Baby A the whole time and she nearly ran every inch of the place. Like all people who have never skated before the boys feet where going every which way. I had one boy on each side of me holding them up. It was a serious workout trying to help them stay up using only one arm per child and then using every muscle in my legs to keep me steady while my boys where slipping around so unsteady. By the end of the night Scooter had it down really really well. Rascal had it down much much better but he was worn out from trying so he played with Tim and Baby A. He did figure out that he could skate like the crab walk and that was how he got around the rest of the night. It was so much fun and we had a great time together as a family.

When Baby A was sick last week with an ear infection she requested that she lay in our bed with her blankets, babies, sippy cup and snack and watch "teebee" (which means she wanted to watch Elmo while laying in our bed). She is feeling much much better this week but is still requesting to watch teebee in our bed.

This is one comfortable girl!

Today after I dropped the boys off at school I had to run to the grocery store for a few things. I decided to take a short detour and check out a park I found a few weeks ago. Once we got there and saw no one was on the playground we just had to stop. Baby A rarely gets to play on a playground which is so sad to me. She had a BLAST!!

She loved the slides and the swings. I promise I saw her dimples more this morning than I have ever seen them before. She would just run around saying playground and giggling. It was so cute and we will have to do it a lot more often.

Her favorite thing to do there.......take the wood chips and put them on the slide, then she would slide down, brushing the off the slide. She did this over and over again and I just sat back and watched her have the time of her life. It was great!
