Picture Post

The kids love to stand at the front door and wait for me before school. They always find it fun to draw in the condensation on the door. I remember doing this same thing as a kid!

Baby A is a busy busy little girl. She loves to sit and look at books but never makes it past one page. She must keep moving. The other day I guess she thought it would be more fun to pull the front door rug into the living room and read on the rug.

I had to miss my bible study this past week because Baby A was not feeling good and hadn't slept great the night before. So we headed to the doctor and found out she had the start of an ear infection and another sinus infection. If this weather would just make up it's mind (30 one day 70 the next) we might could go a week or more without a sinus infection! Poor thing slept like this most of the day since when she laid down she would scream.

Here are two pictures that show proof she is in to everything:

Baby A loves to help me with the laundry. She will take the clothes out of the dryer for me and put the wet clothes in the dryer. She then tries with all her might to push the full laundry basket into the living room. She gets it through the kitchen but then gets frustrated when she can't push it as easily across the carpet. :)

Baby A has been the hardest one to get used to the change in our food. Since we can't feed her eggs yet, she is limited to basically pancakes for breakfast and for lunches she like cheese sandwiches with kale chips.

If we try to feed her something with a spoon she refuses it. You can NOT feed her at all! She must feed herself which usually ends up like this:

Baby A LOVES clothes. She really LOVES clothes. She loves to attempt to try them on and she will carry them around in her hands all day long. We even have to bypass the battle and just let her take a wad of clothes with her when we leave to take the kids to school. She keeps them in a bear hug the entire time. The other day she took off her jacket and attempted to put it back on. This is what she got:

She wouldn't dare let me fix it and walked around all day like this. Such a silly girl!

Today is supposed to be another warm beautiful day so I may take advantage of it and try to get some pics of Baby A outside. If I get some great ones you can expect to see them here soon.

  1. What a cutie! She is at such a fun (but exhausting for you) age. Let her feed herself even if it means a total mess. My almost 3 year old wants me to feed him his dinner every night. What is up with that?? Did he not get the memo that he's #4. He should be cooking dinner for himself by now :)
