On Christmas Day after we went to our church's candlelight service we headed over to my parents house for lunch and presents. As I mentioned before Baby A was tired and she went straight to sleep as soon as we got to their house. She slept through lunch and presents but her nap was much needed!
We ate lunch fist and then opened gifts. Levi was down for a nap too so my two boys opened all their gifts first:
Rascal got some Rescue Hero action figures
Scooter got a dinosaur excavation kit
Both boys got some nice clothes, which they really needed
Then it was time for the adults to open their gifts
We got my parents a canvas with all 4 grandchildren on it. It turned out really great. I don't have a picture of the canvas but it had this picture on it:
Levi woke up and joined in on all the fun
As all babies do, he LOVED the tissue and wrapping paper. Uncle Tim and Aunt Lindsey got him the cutest puffy vest outfit along with some of our favorite things (like baby puffs, boogie wipes, inchbug labels and disposable placemats). AT one point he decided playing with his sock was more fun than opening the gifts. He is such a cutie!
Then Baby A woke up and she got to open all her presents by herself.
Notice her bad bead head with her pretty smocked dress. HA!
Baby A got this sweet mini baby doll from my parents and she LOVES it. She sleeps with it every night and she totes it around all the time. I was in love with these mini dolls when I was a little girl too so I think it is funny that she loves them too.
She got some clothes for her mini baby doll but she never keeps any of her dolls clothes on for long.
The boys both got some games (including Angry Birds), rain boots, hats, ds games and Scooter got a nice fur lined jacket that I pray he doesn't leave at school. He has lost a total of 5 coats at school due to leaving them in the gym. grrr!
We had a wonderful Christmas filled with tons of fun, laughter but most of all tons of LOVE. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family and to get to spend the holidays with each and every one is a gift itself.
Now it is a new year and I am not setting any resolutions but I have a few things that I am giving a try to see if some changes are going to be made. More on that in another post.
