Advent Activites (Days 3 and 4)

Saturday was day 3 of our advent calendar. We talked about Jesus being our Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6). Rascal opened the envelope and Scooter read it out loud...."Open one gift from under the tree"! Man they were excited.....little did they know it wasn't part of their Christmas presents just a fun way to see what was in store for the night.

Baby A opened her gift first while the boys were at a birthday party. It was her bedtime and in each gift was a new pair of pj pants that I made them. She loved playing in the paper and sitting in the box after it was opened. Then she got excited about new clothes. She LOVES clothes and shoes.

She couldn't figure out the ruffles at the bottom. It was funny!
The boys got home from the party and were so excited about telling us about the fun they had ...they forgot all about the gifts they got to open. Once I mentioned it, they dashed into the living room to find their gift.

Scooter got Titans fleece pj pants

Rascal got horse/ western fleece pj pants
Now I don't have to wash their camo ones every single day so they can wear them every night.

Sunday was Day 4 and they opened their envelope and found out that we were going to see Santa. We talked about Jesus being our Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6).

Baby A HATED Santa! It didn't help that the kids in front of us freaked out which caught her attention fast.
Oh well the picture makes for a great memory!

I have been busy busy, sewing  all kinds of things during nap times. I am making all of us new stockings this year and this is what Baby A's and mine look like:

I have Scooter's done and I am almost done with Rascal's then I have to start on Tim's. I should have them done this week so I will post pictures of them later this week.
I will be back later this week with more recaps on our advent activities.
