A Holiday Is Coming Up....

.......So that means someone has to get sick.
It never fails that whenever we have a trip or holiday some one in my family gets sick. The victim this time, Rascal. He came home from school yesterday with a headache so bad he was crying. We went to pick out pumpkins and he really could care less about it. I knew then that something wasn't right. We got home and took his temp. He was running a 101.7 fever and still complaining of his head hurting. So he laid around and waited for the pain reliever to kick in. Once the pain reliever kicked in he was up running around and acting normal, but I knew not to get my hopes up. Sure enough when the medicine wore off he had a fever again. He woke up with his throat hurting this morning so that leads me to think he has strep throat. We head to the doctor today to see what is up and hopefully we can get something to help him feel better before all the Halloween fun gets here.

** UPDATE~ Rascal does indeed have Strep Throat...BOO! At least he should be better to trick or treat! **
