I'm extremely late to post this pictures but better late than never!
We headed down to Florida the second week of October on the kids fall break. As always we had gorgeous weather and an even better time. We had just found out the news of Rascal's other food allergies so I was naturally concerned about eating out with him. However we had an easy smooth laid back week with no problems and no trips to the hospital or minor med. That's huge for us!
This was the FIRST trip we have taken with out Rascal's beloved bear! A fight broke out months ago and bear was ripped clean in half. I sewed him back up but have put him away for memory purposes. Rascal was fine with not taking him but I was a little sad to see this day come.
We changed took two vehicle's down there and let the kids take turns sitting in the car with the dvd player. Mr. Peabody and Sherman was the favorite movie!
Scooter is getting so big so fast! No more kids menu, doesn't need my help with much and is just growing like a weed.
Baby A was hesitant about the ocean. She didn't mind as long as the waves didn't hit her in the face and she could hold someone hand the entire time. She LOVED the sand and hunting for seashells.
My boy are naturals by now and they love to boogie board and snorkel to find cool treasures.
The swimming pool was the favorite pot for these two. Rascal has gotten REALLY good at swimming and loves to do it every chance he gets. Baby A has been a fishy since she was tiny and it was hard to get her out of the pool. She LOVES to jump in and swim under the water. She does really well with it too.
We let Baby A skip naps this week and as you can see she needed them. She tried to stay up all day but it's hard when you swim as much as she did. :)
We flew kites one morning. It was REALLY windy and we managed to get them up in the air but it was not easy to keep them in the air. It was still fun and something Rascal or Baby A had never done before.
She was proud that she could do it all by herself!

This big smile was because we had just gotten a call from his allergist telling us they did not feel like his new food allergies were indeed food allergies. We were so happy but still cautious until we got in to see his allergist and have skin tests done.
We went to the Wharf one afternoon to do some shopping and let the kids ride the ferris wheel.
Baby A was just a tad excited about it! Scooter wanted to do a ropes course they had so he didn't ride the ferris wheel. Once we got to the ropes course, we saw it was closed for the season and I felt so bad he didn't get to do anything fun.
The kids love to go exploring with Paw.
This is Baby A and Paw on one of their walks.
We headed to Foley AL to do some shopping at the outlet mall.
More fun in the sand. We are always the first ones out on the beach and some days it's still too chilly to get into the water. This is when we build/ dig in the sand.
She asked for weeks before our trip if she would be able to make a sand angel. This girl really loved the sand this year. Next year I bet she will love the water even more.
