We are really loving summer so far........
We have had lots of coffee dates
(I have created tiny addicts to Starbucks)
Lots of shopping
Would you look at that sassy girl with Starbucks in hand?!?!?!
She told me "OH mom! I NEED this for my birthday!" HA!
Lots of porch sitting
(poor Henry)
Playing in the rain
Playing outside
picking beautiful flowers
LOTS of fun pool time
This girl is a MESS!
Fun time at the splash park with friends
lots of trips to get ice cream at Yogurt Isle
And lots of silliness!
Baby A had her very first dentist appointment and did great!!
No cavities!!! YAY!
We had been having a REALLY hard time keeping Heidi in her pen. She would jump the 5 foot fence and come lay on the front porch. It was too risky to have such a intimidating dog loose so we had to find her a new home. My kids were a bit sad but we found her a home with my Nanny Joann and Ralph. They live on close to 200 acres and Heidi has free reign of the property (however she sticks close to home because she is so loyal and protective).
We took her down to them one Saturday and it was pretty clear that she was much happier there.
She has been there for a moth now and we have heard she is doing great.
After dropping Heidi off and visiting for a while, we decided to head over to a state park and let Tim and Scooter fish while I let the other two kids play on the playground.
We didn't stay terribly long because a summer storm blew in and the guys weren't catching any fish anyways. We headed to go eat dinner at Chili's (which was AWESOME with Rascal's food allergy) and then headed on home. It was a fun day trip with the family.
