A few Saturdays ago we went to pick strawberries as a family.
It's much more than getting fresh local fruit.
It's making lasting memories for my kids!
This was Baby A's first time to go strawberry picking. She has been begging me to go pick more fruit since we picked nectarines a year ago. She even wanted to grow our own but we decided to stick with only growing veggies and going pick our own fruit.
She was a pro from the start.
The boys knew the drill and before long we almost had all three buckets filled.
We are already talking about going back and picking more fruit. The only hesitation I have is that my kids don't eat fruit. Yes you read that right. See I told you it was more about the memories. Baby A ate some of the strawberries but we made strawberry jam, strawberry shortcake and chocolate covered strawberries with the rest of them.
