Baby Shower For Ashlee and Jett

In a few short weeks my family will have a new member. 

Sweet baby Jett will be here and I can't wait to snuggle him. 

My mom and I hosted a baby shower for Ashlee this past weekend. 

Just a small friends and family shower and it was so much fun to plan. 

We went with a "Ready to Pop" theme since she is so close to her due date. 

All the food that we served had the word POP in it. 

We served Oreo POPs

Fruit POPs (or kabobs) 

POPcorn chicken and Jalapeno POPper dip (these where still in the oven when I took these pictures) 

Also there were bubbles on the table as decor since bubbles POP (and I wanted Levi to have something from the shower)

Cake POPs 

and Soda POP 

I didn't get any pictures of the guests or Ashlee and I didn't get any pictures of her opening gifts ( I was busy writing the gifts down for her). The guests played one game while Ashlee opened gifts.

AS she opened gifts if they saw something that was on their card they got to cross it off. 

The prize was this jar of Hershey Kisses:

When I sent out the invitations I added a note for each person. For every package of baby wipes they brought in they got a entry in our raffle. 

The door prize was this basket of owl goodies :

I also made this letter J for Jett. 

It hung on the door that every one came in. 

As everyone left they picked up a favor. 

It was a package of POPcorn that said "Thanks for POPping by" 

 It was such a fun time celebrating Ashlee and the sweet little boy that will greet us so soon.
