We loaded up the van and headed off to Florida early early Saturday morning. Tim drove our van with his dad, Baby A and I in it and Tim's bother Jonathan drove their SUV with the boys and Tim's mom in it. Best decision ever was to separate the kids. Baby A did so great on the long trip down there. We passed the time with car games, dvd's and coloring. We also had a pair of silly glasses that we all tried on for laughs!
I printed out several games for me and the kids to play on the way there and thought since we were divided up into two different cars the boys might like the challenge of who did the best on the games. Turns out... I was the only one who played the games! HA! Oh well it passed the time for me.
Oh and we napped some too, that's always great on road trips.
On the way down there we made great time and got there before check in. Our condo wasn't ready yet so we passed the time at a public beach. My kids were dressed in jeans/ pants and Baby A even had on long sleeves. Not really beach attire but that did not stop them from playing int he sand and even getting in the water. We had to pull out their luggage and change their clothes in the parking lot because they were so wet and sandy.
We stayed at a different condo this year since our regular place was under construction. This place was super nice and each condo had it's own personal elevator lobby. My kids thought that was just the coolest thing ever.
The pool there was amazing and we spent more time at the pool than we normally do. It was just so kid friendly and beautiful.

My sun-kissed boy
Baby A slept on a air mattress in our room and decided that 5:30 was a great time to wake up every single morning. This was the view from our room each morning around 6:00. Pretty awesome.
The kids love to eat their breakfast on the balcony. It also keeps their loud voices away from the other sleepers in the condo.
This girl loves to play on Granny's iPad.
It blows my mind how she knows how to get to the apps and play the games on it.

My crazy Rascal. He is always making us laugh with his witty personality.
See what I mean.
His goggles made his hair stand up and instead of fixing his hair he just walked around like this.
In years past Rascal was always a little fearful of the water. This year he LOVED the water. Scooter and him would snorkel for hours and find all kinds of shells.
The first full day we were there, the water was so calm and there were no jelly fish. we spent all day long out there and had a blast.
This girl is a beach babe. She loved playing in the sand and in the water.
Of course she would talk Rascal into playing in the sand with her instead of snorkeling int he water. He is such a sucker for his sister.
Scooter.... oh how he is growing up before my very eyes. He worried some about tanning this trip. He wanted to make sure he got a good tan.
Tim and his brother fished a lot this trip. It;s so much fun watching them fish from the shore. Of course I am there to get several pictures for them too.
Baby A was interested in the fish that Tim pulled in.
Scooter fished some too and even caught a few fish. I love this picture and can't decide if I like it in color or sepia best.
More pictures to come tomorrow and the rest of this week. Enjoy!

Lindsey, they are growing up SO fast! I love the one of Scooter fishing in the ocean! What a handsome guy! Rascal's personality totally matches his cute face! He is just too cute! And his sweet love for his sister....precious!! And Baby A is just a doll! She is so stinking adorable!! It sure looks like you guys had a blast!!
