Preschool Progress

We are still trucking along doing our preschool. I love watching Baby A learn so much.

She has mastered recognizing her shapes now and we are moving on to tracing/ drawing them.
One way we do that is by placing Popsicle sticks over the lines on the paper and then turning the paper over where there are no lines and she has to do it all by herself.

We also painted and colored (with markers...a special treat) her shapes too.

Then we learned all about the post office and mailed Nanny and Papa and Granny and Paw letters.

She loved putting the stamps on and licking the envelopes closed. She was even more excited about putting the letters in the mailbox at the post office. It's the little things. She was a little concerned about where her letters went after she closed the hatch.

After the post office we headed to the library where we checked out a few books about letters and mail.
She LOVES to go to the library and play on the kids computers and work the puzzles.

She even has her very own library card that she makes sure to keep up with so she can hand it to the librarian.

Soon we will learn all about the animals at the zoo and take a field trip (or two or three) to the zoo. We have special crafts lined up for that and also a few special treats for snacks.

  1. She's SO CUTE! Love that little face!! You are an awesome teacher! I haven't even thought about the post office visit and mailing pictures. :/ But what a great idea! Aliyah would love that! Our family would too!
