This past Saturday Scooter got up early and went fishing with Tim and Jonathan. He LOVES to fish and is really getting good at it. He baits his own hook, takes the fish off and everything (more than his momma does!)
While they were out having a great time on the lake, I took Rascal and Baby A to the new splash park that just opened up near us.
When we got there the clouds has rolled in but it never rained and the sun came back out and heated things up.
I LOVE this picture (above). Rascal is such a great big brother to Baby A. He protects her at all times and makes sure I am doing my best as her mom. We are working on that last part. I have to remind him often that I am the mother and have control of everything.
It seems that we are going to end all summer activities with an injury of some sort. This time Baby A slipped and fell scraping her face, shoulder and knee.
She tried to be brave and go back out but the water hurt her face. We played on the playground for a little while and then went on home for naps.
They all are growing up so fast! I need to take scooter with me fishing so he can take my fish off!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that picture of them too!! They are both so stinkin cute! Poor baby with that ouwee!! She's one tough cookie cause that looks painful! Aliyah saw A's face and said "Aww is she okay? What happened to my friend?" :) makes my heart happy that my girl considers your girl her friend....
