Here are a few pictures off my phone from the last month.
The boys LOVE to catch frogs and typically Baby A is right there in on the fun too. (I say fun hesitantly because this is not my idea of fun!) This particular day they caught a few frogs and made them a "habitat" in their wagon. Then they got a car and shoved the frogs into the driver and passenger seats. Oh these boys! Look closely at the top right picture and you'll see the frog inside the car!
Baby A fell asleep in the van one day (a rare thing) and instead of going home and hopefully transferring her to her bed only for it to fail like always, I just drove around. I LOVE living int he country so many beautiful things to see and it is just plain peaceful!
Scooter had a field trip the beginning of May and I was chosen to be one of the chaperones. He was SO excited because only two people were allowed to go as chaperones and he was worried I wouldn't get picked. We had SO much fun! We went downtown and saw a Beauty and The Beast play. The play was not very good but it was fun to spend time with Scooter.
After the play we all went and ate at CiCi's pizza and I was shocked at how well they had things together there. I mean feeding 100+ 4th graders can't be easy.
One night while the boys were spending the night with friends Baby A and I had girl time outside. We stayed out until dark counting the bats flying from tree to tree. She just talked and talked and talked and I just soaked it all in. LOVE having a little girl.
Also funny fact.... Bats are attracted to white objects. If your wearing white expect a few bats to dive down at you. If your a small white dog minding your own business trying to do business, they dive bomb you! Yep, poor Lucy was under attack one night and you should have heard my squeals and the funny little dance I did. CREEPY!
We have had our share of water gun fights here. This year Baby A is old enough to play along and it is so fun watching them run around chasing each other.
Baby A wanted to go for a walk the other day and hunt for things to put in her wagon. We found flowers (dandelions), wild strawberries and rocks. She was easily distracted by butterflies and lady bugs though.
Poor Lucy! She is the subject if many imaginary play times. I can't say anything.... I was known to do the same thing as a kid.
This $10 pool was the best thing I have bought this year. Baby A pulls it out to play in every day and Lucy even joins in sometimes.
It's the 2nd full day of summer and we have already had a zoo day (post to come soon) and a day at the park. The weather is glorious right now and I am making sure to soak up as much time outdoors as we can before it gets scorching hot!

Gosh I love your kids! The frog in the car still cracks me up! haha You have 3 amazing kids, really, I am not surprised, they have amazing parents! Love you all!
