Easter 2013

This year I didn't have the energy to take many pictures. We just enjoyed Easter for what it really meant and I caught a few pictures along the way.

Friday night we dyed Easter eggs. This was the first year Baby A really got to be a part of it and I think she thoroughly enjoyed it.  It's something even my boys still look forward to and that makes me happy!

Saturday was my birthday and we spent the afternoon hunting eggs at out church Easter egg hunt. It was a yucky rainy day so we moved the hunt indoors. It still was just as fun and my kids loaded up on goodies!
The picture below is of Scooter helping out holding the resurrection eggs while Pastor Rick told the real Easter story.

Sunday we dressed all up in our Easter outfits for church

I really thought I would have to beg for the boys to wear matching outfits but they were PUMPED about it. YAY! Scooter is looking so grown up and it kills me!

And you know I love a comparison so here are a few pics of us in the past on Easter
2006 Rascal's first Easter

 2010 I was pregnant with Baby A

2011 Baby A's first Easter

We had lunch with my family at my parents house and it was rainy and yucky outside. Instead of hunting eggs we did the next best thing... watched Duck Dynasty. We love that show and unfortunately Tim and I don't have cable so we don't get to watch it much.

For dinner we headed over to Tim's parents house.
While we were there the sun decided to peek out so we had a egg hunt. It was muddy and Baby A wasn't a fan of that but she loved looking for the eggs.

She was telling me ":It has rain on it mom! YUCK!"
She threw it down and wouldn't take that one HA!

It was a great Easter filled with wonderful family time and celebrating a RISEN Savior!
