Dropping In

 Just dropping in to say we are all still alive and kicking around here. Well I feel like I am going to drop dead because I am so WORN OUT! 

That's OK I have these two things in hand:

 

 And together they are going to get me through the week :)

Oh and that is my first bag of mini eggs this year! That is a new record for me..... those are a huge weakness of mine. I justify it by saying my birthday is tomorrow and I deserve it.

So what has been going on ... well it would take forever to catch you up on everything and I eventually will but for now I will show you a few pictures from our trip to Gatlinburg that we just got back from.

It was our first family trip as a family of 5, first trip traveling with a pet (Lucy came too) and our kids first time to go to the mountains. We knew about those firsts before the trip but we didn't know about the first time to be on a trip when it snowed and first time to be in the mountains while it snowed.  The mountains are breathtaking as is but add in the snow and there are no words to describe the beauty. These pictures do absolutely NO justice for the sight seen in person. 

 

 

We had some bumps and wrenches thrown in with a few sick kids but we made the best of it and had a great time.
