Here's my group (plus the blonde in the back, more on her in a bit). We were ready to take off on our hour long drive on the bus. Man buses are NOT comfortable anymore (yes I know it's my age).
At the Orpheum we waited in line to get our seats. The kids were so excited and thought the place was a castle. I love he Orpheum!! It is simply gorgeous inside.
We had GREAT seats!
For whatever reason we got to our seats and then had to wait 15 minutes before the show started. That doesn't seem bad but all those 1st graders were BORED and messing with EVERY little thing around them.
We took pictures to pass the time. Sorry they are pitiful quality but it was dark in the place and editing them messed them up.
I find it fun to go on field trips and watch my kids interact with their friends. Rascal though he is the classroom stud. No joke the girls flock to him and if I tried to get a picture of just him alone one or more girls would jump in the picture with him.
This is Rascal's crush and I think the feeling is mutual. We are in BIG trouble!
They had to make sure they sat by each other on the bus (that's why I had an added one in my team on the bus), at the show and also at lunch. It cracked me up watching them together.
At the show they were determined to share a chair and sit close by each other. I must say I wasn't so sure about all this. I was glad when a friend of hers begged her to come sit by her. They still were in eye sight of each other though!
On the way back to the school, we were all SO TIRED. It was a LONG day and we were running late getting back to the school. Lots of the kids fell asleep but not the two I was sharing a seat with. They decided it would be much more fun to make silly faces and mess up their hair.
We had a lot of fun on his field trip and I was so happy I got to tag along.

But of course he is the class stud! Not only is is such a cute little guy, he can make everyone laugh, and that's always 'the one' everyone likes! You are in trouble... not only with him but his brother and his sister ;)
