Some major picture overload here..... you have been warned.
It's like when you have a new baby and you think every little thing is is just the cutest so you take a billion pictures, you know what I mean right?!?! Well Lucy is our new baby and we have taken tons of pictures of her.
Baby A was the one who asked for a puppy for Christmas so we assumed she would be the one who would be all about Lucy. Well she is learning that a new puppy takes the attention off her so she isn't always a fan of Lucy. Rascal however LOVES Lucy. He makes sure she has everything she needs and loves to have her lay with him.
Scooter being the oldest is the most help with Lucy right now. He loves her so much and tells us often how she's his favorite gift ever.
Baby A loves her but can sometime be a little too rough with her. Baby A is notorious for trying to pick Lucy up by her neck.
(yes she was asleep and when he picked her up she stayed asleep just like this)
We are crate training her and it is working out really well. She sleeps in her crate at night or while we are gone. At night she rarely whines when we put her in the crate and she typically wakes up once during the night to go out and potty.
Little Red Riding Hood :)
I know it looks crazy but this was the only one that fit her well and wasn't even more over the top cheesy. She doesn't wear the hood but this sweater came in handy during the snow and rain we had the first week.
Lucy loves car rides. She sits in my lap and falls asleep. We went on a longer car ride last Saturday and she just chilled out in my lap the whole time.
Lucy has discovered that she likes to hang out by the dishwasher when we have it open.
(she looks so much like a stuffed animal or calendar puppy)
At night you can find Lucy snuggled up with me on the couch or in our bed (before she gets put in the crate for the night). In fact Tim tried to move her closer to him last night and she growled at him. :) HA... what can I say she's my 4th baby!
Th kids think she is ugly when she is all wet. HA! They laugh and laugh and tell me to hurry up and dry her off. Since she has white hair she has to be bathed about once a week (sometimes more sometimes less depending on how muddy it is). She does great during baths and even likes when I brush her daily. She isn't much of a fan of the hair dryer but we hope that gets better with time.
We took her on her first walk the other day. She has NO idea what to do on a walk. She would rather sit and watch the birds and chase leaves. I had to pull her along often and tell the kids to run ahead and call her so she would go forward not backwards. HA!
She is SO happy to see us when we come home or even if we walk out of a room and then come back in. You would think we had been gone a lifetime, she gets that excited.
So far we have just loved having Lucy in our family, She is a little high maintenance since she is a puppy but that seems to get better with each passing day.
Be prepared for more Lucy pictures on the blog now :)

She is very cute!!
