Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Last Tuesday Rascal's class had a trip to the pumpkin patch.
It was very cold but so much fun.
We started off the fun with story time:

Then it was time for face painting:

Then a big class picture:

Then it was down to the pumpkin patch to pick out their pumpkins:

They got to jump off a hay fort and play in a corn box (think sand box only with corn)

Would you just look at Rascal in this picture above?!?! The guys were helping the kids turn a flip and then land in the hay. Rascal (my daredevil) wanted no part of it and when I asked him to do it for a picture I get this look (hands in his pockets and not budging)!! He never did it.

After getting all the hay out of the kids hair and corn out of their shoes, it was time for the hay ride:

They got to play several games:

And then the last thing they did before heading back to the school was see the animals:

These poor pigs were sooo cold and shivering. I felt bad for them.

Of course Rascal found the horse....

This is a sheep and he was tall (taller than a big sized dog).

They all thought petting "Black Betty" the chicken was cool:

It was so much fun going on the field trip with Rascal's class and I am already looking forward to the one they will have in February. Clifford the big red dog at the Orpheum!! FUN!
