OK so feel free to skip right over this post if you want to.
I won't be mad :)
I have been working so hard to stay ahead of the game in all areas of my life right now. I am sick of feeling like I can barely keep my head above water and any way that I can find to make my life easier.... well I am on board.
I have had my Christmas cards for a month, I got them addressed and put stamps on them and then they sat just waiting until December to be mailed out. I mailed them today so I didn't quite make it.
Christmas decorations were up at the beginning of November, our advent calendar is ready and waiting until tomorrow and I am on top of all our laundry for the moment (it's likely that I will be behind again by Monday).
Anyways, with all that we have going on I decided to sit down and plan out our meals for the entire month (or more). Now these are just a good start. I am sure things will come up where we have to change the plan for the night or even week but at least I have a plan. In my mind that helps me breath just a tiny bit easier!
I stocked up (including buying and freezing two whole hams) before Thanksgiving in hopes to stay away from the grocery store through the holidays. Well because I have no plan for ALL this food, I have found myself back at the store buying things we don't really need. See a plan is just all together better :)
So here is what I have for the next month or more. Don't get me wrong, I will have to go pick up the basics at the store but for the most part we have all the ingredients for these meals. I will add links to the meals with online recipes. And we are still working through our half of a cow that we bought in March. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!
