Sorry for a few quiet days. Baby A is sick running high fever and between tending to her and keeping this house clean, there just isn't much time left to blog. I'll try to get the rest of the beach pictures posted today and I have a rather funny video to post tomorrow.
It should be noted that cleaning a house with a toddler running around is like shoveling snow while the snow is still falling. HA!
Rascal finally warmed up to the ocean this year. In the past he would get in maybe once but preferred the sand or even better.. .the pool!
Not sure why they are squatted down like this but I found the picture too cute not to post it!!
I love this picture of Daniel searching for things in the water. Mark my word he will be the next Jeremy Wade or Steve Erwin. That kid just soaks up reptiles and marine life. This picture also shows how calm and clear the water was most days. We loved that!!
My gracious he is growing up so fast!!
Tim and Jonathan did a little fishing this year again. You can tell they love doing this and I love seeing them reel the fish in.
Those pigtails are just so sweet.
Great example of how most attempts at pictures of her went!
Much better!
Love this one of my guys!
A very accurate family picture. Rascal always trying to get Baby A to smile (because he acts like a mother to her) and then we get silly smiles. Oh well I still love the picture!
The boys loved the hot tub
and so did Baby A!
Oh yes... that is an Alligator head that Scooter got as a souvenir. He loves that thing so much and has even taken it to school to show his class.
The day Scooter was sick running fever he really didn't feel like swimming but didn't want to sit in the condo either. He asked if I could help him make something in the sand. Of course I said sure and what does he want to make??? A gator of course! I had no idea how to make a sand gator but here is my our attempt. I thought it turned out pretty well and it stayed there untouched the rest of the week. The boys really loved stomping it on our last day there.
Here's a fun little guy Tim caught in a net. I won't lie it was terribly fun making the crab mad so it would pinch at the shovel We weren't brave enough to stick our hands near him . We did let him go and I am sure he ran far far away from where we were ;)
Ok so to conclude our beach trip pictures I wanted to post a comparison picture.
Here is my trio this year (2012):
Scooter (9), Baby A (2), Rascal (6)
And here is my trio 2 years earlier (2010):
Scooter (7), Baby A (11 weeks) Rascal (4)
It just doesn't seem possible that they have grown up so much and so fast!
I hope you enjoyed the pictures from our beach trip. We had a blast and it was a MUCH NEEDED relaxing trip.
Tim just got back from a business trip to Germany and I am not sure I will ever get caught up on housework. Not even sure how that can through everything so off track either.
