The weather was overcast but we didn't mind at all. It kept it cool, the crowds down and we didn't have to slather on the sunscreen :)
I set out to get more pictures with my boys in them. They both hate getting their picture made so I either have to bribe them, take it when they are not looking or make it a fun pose. That should explain these pictures of them above. HA!
Baby A is all about walking on her own now. We still have the stroller for the very crowded areas.
My boys
Our zoo has this temporary exhibit where you can ride the camels. I have asked the boys before if they wanted to ride but they never took me up on it. This time Scooter wanted to but Rascal didn't. So we watched from the sidelines and maybe next time Rascal will do it too.
Scooter and the zoo keeper talked the whole time about the Chicago Bulls since Scooter and Tim both had on Bulls t-shirts. That man probably had no clue before their conversation, that Scooter could name off the players pretty well. HA!
What a cool experience that I am sure he will remember for the rest of his life.
Sweet pigtails and yes she had to bring her baby doll to the zoo also. She wouldn't let me put clothes on the doll though.
I am not sure why but my boys think they have to get pictures on top of the buddha head.
Well you can tell all three of my kids are used to lizards (although not ones this big). They were so curious about the Komodo Dragons. I find them kind of creepy.
We call Scooter the animal whisperer. He can always get their attention and once again he some how managed to get this giant lizard to look him in the eyes. I really hope we don't have the next Jeremy Wade or Steve Irwin on our hands.

Such great pictures!! I love the one of all three + the baby doll. :) And Sweet A's pigtails! OH the cuteness!
