A prayer request

I am so behind on posts to write. Everyone says that summer is a break from all the "busy" but around here in this home.....summer is the "busy". During the school year I have only one child during the majority of the day and we tend to stay around the house playing since we have to pick up the boys from school. During summer break, the day is ours to do with as we want. I have all 3 kids all day long and have learned that if we don't have something planned then boredom sets in and fighting begins. So we have been busy busy busy so far. We have loved every minute of summer so far. We just got back from a camping trip. I am up to my head in laundry and housework. I promise to catch up soon but it will have to come another day. :)

On a totally different note....... My heart is breaking for this sweet family (Erik and Kate Krull). You can click on their name and it will take you to their blog where to you can read all about their story, many of you may know about them already.  Their daughter Lucy is dying of cancer at the age of 5. They have two other children and they are all just taking in as much as they can before this sweet little girl goes home to be with Jesus. I don't personally know them but they live around the same area we do and I have kept up with their story for a while now. I guess that is why it has burden me so. Tim is also just as heartbroken. He reads the blog posts before I even see there is a new one up.  They posted a very specific prayer request and I thought I would just pass it along to my readers. Sweet little Lucy is not only fighting cancer (and there is nothing else they can do) but she also has meningitis. She is one very sick little girl and to top it off she has lost her sight. The family is asking for prayers for her eye sight to be restored so that they can have some quality of life moments with her before she is taken home. (click here to read the family's post about the request)

So if you would, lift them up in your prayers and just head over to their blog and read about this sweet family. I promise you won't be sorry.
