Just A Few Funnies

Baby A has been sick since last Thursday and we have done A LOT of rocking and singing songs. Her favorites are: wheels on the bus, the little green frog, twinkle twinkle little star and the itsy bitsy spider. After the first day of singing these about 100 times, I tried to sing new different songs. One of the songs I sang her was the wise man built his house upon the rock. I got about half way through the song and she told me no. I kept on singing it and she kept on getting louder and more adamant that I stop singing. I sang the last line of the song...."and the foolish man's house went SPLAT (while clapping my hands together rather dramatically for effect)"..... as soon I said that she looked up at me and said "GOOD", and got out of my lap and walked away. I guess I should have stopped when she told me too ;-)

Last night I was outside weeding the garden and Scooter came to help me. Everyone else had gone in for showers and me and Scooter sat out there just talking and having some WONDERFUL momma son time. We talked about frogs, snakes, bugs, pokemon, our garden and tons more. At one point I told Scooter how much I loved him and that he was a huge help to me weeding the garden. I then told him how much I was enjoying spending the time with him and that I thought he should be my garden helper from now on because he was doing such a great job. He stopped weeding looked at me so sweetly and said "your not so bad yourself mom!"  :)
