Things that make me smile

~Rascal pretending to hide his smile when I tell him what I fixed for his his snack, breakfast, lunch etc..

~Waking up Scooter by snuggling up next to him in bed.

~ Seeing Baby A push her baby dolls around in her stroller.

~Reading books with Baby A.

~ Helping Scooter study for a test and finding out he made an A.

~Seeing Rascal play house with Baby A.

~ Surprising my kids with something they love to do.

~ The simple thank you from the lips of my boys.

~ Warming up the kids clothes in the dryer before they get dressed.

~Seeing Baby A crawl up next to me with her bear laptop and pretend to work while I am on our laptop.

~ Watching Rascal make faces at himself in the mirror when he is supposed to be brushing his teeth.

~Hearing how well behaved and respectful my boys are at school (especially when it comes from another mom who hears how nice my boys are from their children).

~ Watching all 3 kids find joy in making faces and marks in condensation on the front door. 

~Watching Baby A stand at the window and talk to Heidi as if she knows what she is saying.

~ Having Rascal ask me every morning to style his hair. Not just brush it but wet it, style it and blow dry it. Then he likes to grab my hand mirror and check the back.

~ Knowing my children find comfort in their parents. I love being able to see them calm down and know that everything is ok as long as mom and /or dad is there.

Hearing my children laugh. There is nothing more sweet than hearing your children laugh and enjoy life.


These (and many many more) are just a few things that have brought a smile to my face lately.  I am so blessed to have such an amazing family!
