Chocolate Chip cookies

I decided that I would make the boys some homemade cookies for a snack when they got home yesterday. Not wanting to follow the same recipe off the bag of chocolate chips, I headed to Pintrest for "the best chocolate chip cookie recipe". Let me tell you.....there are TONS of "the BEST chocolate chip cookie" recipes. Seriously each recipe said it was the best. So I just randomly chose a recipe and wouldn't you know it....luck was on my side. These homemade chocolate chip cookies where the best cookies I had ever eaten. Not only did they taste AMAZING but they where the perfect texture (soft when warm and crispy but not too crispy when cooled, I personally like mine warmed up) and perfectly round. Here is a picture of the batch I made yesterday (minus 15 a few since I can't stop eating them!):

 She agreed they were very yummy (even with cheese)! 

I think the trick to getting the perfect round cookie was, I made sure there was plenty of room for each cookie to spread and still not touch each other (I put only 10 cookies on a sheet each time) and I made them into little round balls approx 1 inch in diameter.  You can see the entire recipe on my new recipe blog (here) or from the original blog I found them on (here).

Warning for anyone that does make these......they are dangerous to have in the house. I can't stop eating them!!!

I have tons of pictures on my phone that I plan to post soon but for now my house is taking priority over blogging...I  must get it cleaned and organized!
